Description

In ancient Greece a phoenix is a bird that gets reborn from its ashes every 500 years. Associated with the sun, phoenix means endurance, strength, and rebirth. For me the bird is symbolized in a female figure and the female manifests our human spirit that can be beaten down by circumstances, yet is able to find strength and rise from the ashes to feel alive again.
