Art supplies online retailers are: Amazon, JerrysArtarama, Dick Blick Art Materials in the USA. I find that Michael’s and Hobby Lobby are too overpriced in general unless they run a big sale on a specific item. Amazon has a lot of fakes sold as real art supplies. Search for official retailers on Amazon to buy genuine art supplies (for example, Prismacolor has official store on Amazon).

1. Transfer paper: Loew-Cornell, Saral and many other brands.

They come in different colors and sizes! Consider your projects to buy the right kind. I recommend buying large sheets as opposed to small ones. The color depends on the surface you want to use it on. Black is too dark to use on white paper. I use yellow color drawing on toned paper, for example.

3. Kneaded eraser. If it dries up it doesn’t work or erase. Sometimes I get old erasers sold to me. so beware. Kneaded eraser: https://amzn.to/3SrE56g

5.    Don’t buy the cheapest canvases! Their gesso is (white ground) is very low quality that affects everything from paint application to oil paint adherences to archival properties.
