One-on-One Instruction
I offer private one-to-one instruction for students that cannot or do not wish to attend Wednesday night class.

Cost
$20 per hour of individual instruction; $15 for students attending Wednesday night class.

Philosophy
I focus on mastery of fundamentals necessary for developing advanced skills from which students can derive their own aesthetics and styles. My goal is to give students skills and principles that are central to the creation of classical representational art while unlocking their personal imagination and inspiration.

I teach drawing in a variety of mediums including graphite, colored pencils, soft pastels, charcoal, and pen & ink. I also teach watercolor painting.

Learning the fundamentals of painting and drawing takes 1% of talent and 99% of work. With time and practice I guarantee the improvement in your child's artistic development.

Location
The classes are taught at my studio at College Heights North, which is located at 861 Willard Street within walking distance from Penn State's University Park campus in State College, PA. Click here to view the location in MapQuest.

Directions
From University Park campus go north on Atherton (US322), turn right into Mitchell Avenue, then left into Willard street and stop at the yellow house at cul-de-sac (#861). This is roughly by North Atherton and Cherry lane, where Blockbuster is.
